Creating awareness among the public about preservation of the environment, and about cleanliness and hygiene, are both stated objectives of Samvedna Society.
The Society has organised several plantation drives, including a combined plantation drive and medical camp at the Police Technical Training Institute, Vijaypur. It has run Swachhta programmes — among them a cleanliness drive at the Shakti Nagar cremation ground — and repeated fogging and sanitisation drives in Jammu localities.
