During the Covid-19 lockdown Samvedna Society worked with the Police and Civil Administration to deliver free ration, food packets, face masks, hand sanitizers, milk for children and cooking gas for elderly people living alone — all at the doorstep. Frontline workers were felicitated as Corona Warriors, including police personnel, the District Social Welfare Jammu team and safai karamcharis.
The Society has organised repeated langars, among them the 11th Varshik Langar on Maha Shivratri in 2025 and the 12th at Talab Tillo in 2026, and a langar for families affected by flooding at Shree Guru Kabeer Colony, Talab Tillo. Blankets are distributed to homeless people through the severe Jammu winter, and clothes and juices were distributed at the shelter home for the urban homeless at Boria Basti on World NGO Day.
With Sewa Samiti Jammu, the Society performed the immersion of the ashes of approximately 60 unclaimed and unidentified individuals, with proper religious rites, in the Chenab River at Akhnoor.
