Our Story

It began with one man and a list of people nobody was helping

Samvedna Society grew out of Sh. Keshav Chopra’s personal decision to help the people around him in Talab Tillo — without institutional backing, funding or a team. Registered as a society and headquartered at Lane No. 1-A, Talab Tillo, it now runs camps and doorstep services across Jammu district and into Samba.

The method has never changed: find the people who cannot reach a government office, and bring the office to them.

Our Mission & Vision

Doorstep services, a drug-free society, and dignity for the unreached

Our stated aims are plain: reach the unreached sections of society; provide doorstep services to patients, Divyang persons and senior citizens; work jointly with the Civil Administration and Police in emergencies; empower women toward self-employment; and make young people aware of the drug menace.

The Ayushman Bharat Golden Card Drive

PMJAY Golden Cards entitle a family to cashless treatment — but only if somebody actually gets them enrolled. Samvedna Society has run enrolment camps for police battalions, the Crime Branch, fire & emergency services, media families, DC Office staff, CISF personnel at Jammu Airport and Amarnath Ji pilgrims, and has delivered cards to the sick and the elderly at their own doorsteps.
